Well my name is Parminder Singh Virdi I am 15 and I am currently studying for my GCSE's at Wheelers Lane Technology Collage in Birmingham, I have opted for 9 GCSE's. During the holiday's I am catching up on relatively easy course work which i didn't have time to complete at school. I have done very little work on the ICT short course GCSE course work because i thought it was easy, but now I have none of my work from school to refer to so I must start again!

Below are the targets that i must complete in the holiday:

1. Introduction e.g. what you must do!

2. Collecting information to suit my purpose: identify and briefly describe how you collected information from such sources as the Internet( what your on now), CDROM, newspapers, books, database, scanned images, etc.

3. Selecting information for my purpose: describe which sources are relevent and useful for your purpose, making sure you chose a variety of them.

4. Developing information to present to my audience(s):
a) show use of copy and paste, tables or frames and describe how you assembled the information from your chosen sources. Include text, images and data sources;
b) describe and show how you explored the effects of changing information;
c) organise the information in your developed documents under headings, include charts/graphs;
d) show how you derived new information - describe the development of your work.

5. Presenting information:
a) design and use a consistent and appropriate layout for your work. Use predetermined margins, borders, text styles, etc;
b) highlight information and show that it meets your intended purpose; ,br> c) check work for accuracy and get feedback from others describing how you carried out - include evidence of feedback obtained;
d) show how you have saved your work properly in a folder with a set of sensible names for all documents created( use print outs which have been annotated).
